1. Connect your SUMO with Webshipper

Start by creating a Webshipper account on Webshipper.com or Webshipper.dk

When logging in for the first time, you will be met with the following 4 steps:


Click on “Create your first order system” to add your SUMO to Webshipper.

Otherwise go to “Settings” => “Add order system”


Start by choosing “SUMO” in the “Order system type” dropdown, followed by an URL for your webshop.

Ex. Mywebshopname.com

Enter your “Username” and “Password” for SUMO, which is required to sync the orders between Webshipper and SUMO.

Fill out the informations in “Sender address”. This is the address, from where you’re shipping orders.

When everything is done and correctly filled, press “Create order system”.


Given the informations entered is correct, the status should change to “OK”.


2. Add a shipper

Next we need to create your shipping methods.

Go back to “Get started” and click on “Create your first carrier now”.

Here you will have the opportunity to choose amongst our current integrations.

When clicking “Create now”, you will be asked to fill out the information we need from your shipper.


For the purpose of this guide, I’ve chosen YourGLS as an example.

The needed information differ from shipper to shipper.


Great! Now we’re almost there.

All we have left to do is add our shipping rates.

3. Add a shipping rate

Click on “Create your first shipping rate”.


Depending on your chosen shipper, “Type” and “Carrier service” will vary.


When using SUMO with Webshipper, you’ll need to create your shipping rates in both systems.

When identical rates are set up, you can match/sync them on their ID.

Type in the SUMO rate ID in the field shown below:

The SUMO rate ID can be found in the URL-line when editing a shipping rate.



If you wish to allow your customers to choose a pickup point themselves, select the following:

  1. “GLS Pakkeshop” for GLS
  2. “Enable drop points” for PostDK
  3. “Pickup point” for Bring
  4. “Droppoints” for UPS

Fill out the remaining informations, aswell as the destination countries that you wish to support.
